First and foremost, though most of our members have their own Twitch and Twitter pages, the official Gearbox Union pages are definitely worth a follow. They’re how you’ll keep up to date with what we’re doing most easily, and primarily where you’ll see us stream during events.
Czar Lee
Lee is the head and main organizer of The Gearbox Union. Since the Gearbox Union’s founding in 2013, he has been the main driving force behind many of the activities, and many of the sponsorship opportunities, that we have access to. His main claim to fame is being an unrelenting nuisance in Minecraft.
Officer Joe
Joe is one of the most senior current members of the Gearbox Union. He’s been a large public presence for the group and has also helped secure important sponsorships for our charity events. Among many other accomplishments, he’s one of the few Gearbox Union members who participated in Extra Life United.
Gearbox Members
Bethany
Bethany has been a member of the Gearbox Union since 2015 and 2021 will mark her fifth year raising money for sick kids in the team’s Extra-Life campaign. Bethany serves as the A/V team captain for the Union, taking photos at events as well as taking on hosting duties of the Mandatory Downtime podcast. Her other hobbies include filmmaking, competitive paintball and serving as the Galactic Ambassador for a group called Saber School.
Gregg
Gregg is one of the first members of the Gearbox Union, having handled the video editing, podcast editing, and website maintenance in the early days of the group. After a mental health hiatus, he’s back and doing more behind-the-scenes stuff, but still participates in larger events with the rest of them. He takes pride in his streaming activities, where he regularly plays Zelda and Pokemon games, as well as the occasional PS2 “classic”.
